Adjustment
Payton Optical customers would tell you it's
the adjustment that sets our service apart from
everyone else. Payton Optical will adjust glasses
purchased from us for free as long as you own
them.
The problem most optical retailers have, is they
place little or no emphasis on whether the frame
is adjusted properly or not. Proper frame adjustment
is the key to comfort, both of the frame and also the
lenses.
Major Repairs
Nearly every frame we stock is covered
by warranty against defects in manufacturing.
Should a frame break outside of its warranty,
we can usually repair it. Most frames we sell,
including titanium and stainless steel, can be
repaired using gold solder or a state of the art laser soldering process! We charge a $35 fee for this service and since we do this in our lab, we can usually complete it within 2-3 hours.
Should we be unable to repair your frame, we
may be able to find a new frame from our stock in which to mount your lenses. If your existing lenses will not fit the new frame, we are glad to edge them for you. We have our own lens edging machine that allows us to provide you with same day service in most cases.
Minor Repairs
Most eyeglass repairs are what we
at Payton Optical consider "minor." Most
repairs can be done in our lab by our expert
staff!
Other optical retailers often bring their
minor repairs in to us. We can replace
nearly any ophthalmic frame screw and we
can get those hard to get broken screws
out, often while you wait. If the frame screw barrel is stripped, we can rethread it!

any minor repair is absolutely free as long as you own your glasses!
